Do I have to commit to monthly usage?
No. All plans are pay-as-you-go. You only need to commit if you want discounted pricing on consumption. For example, committing $240/month or more unlocks lower per-report rates.
What are the seat (user) costs?

Consumption refers to usage services such as roof measurements and design services:

How are discounts applied with a commit?
At standard pay-as-you-go, you pay list price (e.g., $10/report).
If you commit (e.g., $240+/mo), discounts apply to reports and services.
The commit is “use it or lose it” and doesn’t roll over.
Can I add users mid-contract?
Yes. Extra users can be added at the same per-seat rate, billed from the activation date.
How and when are invoices issued?
Subscription (seats) is billed at the start of each month.
Consumption (reports/services) is tallied at month-end.
Invoices are due within 3 days.

What are Design Services?
Design Services are when you request Aether’s in-house design desk to handle the heavy lifting — building 3D models, generating roof measurement reports, and preparing solar system layouts.
How are Design Services priced?
Residential Solar Design: $15

Expedited Residential Roof Measurement: $40

What’s the turnaround time?
Standard requests: delivered within 24 hours, average 2–3 hours.
Expedited requests: delivered within 1 hour, often 15–30 minutes.
How do Design Services interact with AI self-service pricing?
If you’ve already run an AI measurement (e.g., $9 for residential), you only pay the difference when escalating to Design Services.
Example: Residential Solar Design is $15. If you already paid $9 for an AI report, the design desk fee is only $6 more.
This way, you never “double pay” — your AI work carries forward into the design desk workflow.
When should I use Design Services?
AI-only is best for roofs up to medium complexity, when you need fast, low-cost design at scale.
Design Services are best when projects require higher accuracy, involve complex or irregular roofs, commercial buildings, or when you need expedited turnaround (SLA-backed delivery within 1 hour).
